The WEY Model SG Shear Gate Valve is not like any other ‘through-gate’ valve. Other through-gate valves have large internal body cavities in which solid materials can build up to jam operation of the gate. These other designs also have a gate which is suspended by packing chambers which leads to gate/seat misalignment and leakage.
